- Rent with Hertz for 7 consecutive weeks and remain on-rent continuously thereafter.
- Drive an average of 30+ trips/week for Uber in your Hertz rental.
- Pay all weekly extensions on time.
- Stay current on maintenance requests and keep the vehicle damage free.

Tesla Models
Some Hertz branches may have two Tesla models available for you to choose from. Here is what you need to know about each.
Tesla Model 3 Standard Plus
- Up to 260 miles of estimated range on a single charge
- Rear-wheel drive
Tesla Model 3 Long Range
- $376/week, excluding taxes and fees
- Up to 358 miles of estimated range on a single charge
- All-wheel drive
Dashcams
In select markets and for a limited time, your Hertz rental may come equipped with a dashcam at no additional cost. Subject to availability and not guaranteed. Dashcams are intended to help keep you and riders safe, and give you a trusted source of video when you need it.
Requirements
- Must be age 21 or older in most cities. Drivers in Los Angeles, Orange County, Inland Empire, and Palm Springs must be age 25 or older.
- Have an active credit or debit card
- A smartphone with the Uber Driver app installed
- Drivers who rent a Tesla from Hertz must provide at least 30 trips per week with Uber in the rental
To get a car with this offer, must have been approved to drive with Uber and be either 21 or 25 years of age, depending on the rental terms set forth by the rental companies. Prices are subject to change or withdrawal at any time and without notice, and may depend on the region or city in which you are located. Several factors may determine the base price of a rental, including the duration of the rental, the car make and model, how far in advance the rental is booked, the time and day of the rental, and it's home location. Please visit the rental company’s website for a full description of the terms and conditions applicable to your rental, including whether taxes, gas, and other applicable fees are included or excluded. Uber is not responsible for the products or services offered by other companies, or for the terms and conditions (including financial terms) under which those products and services are offered. Drivers renting with a rental partner may qualify for trip surge areas and Uber promotions specific to that rental partner, but except as specified in the Driver app, may not qualify to participate in other promotional offers.
*To qualify for the $280/week rate (excluding taxes and fees), drivers will need to meet the following requirements:
- You must be currently on-rent with Hertz.
- You must have driven 7 or more consecutive weeks on-rent, either completing 7 weeks on the current Rental Agreement or completing 7 weeks across multiple consecutive Rental Agreements as long as there are no gaps in-between them.
- You must be up-to-date on all payments
- You must be driving an average of 30+ trips per week over the 7 week period, across either a single Rental Agreement or multiple Rental Agreements as long as there is not a gap of 24 hours or more between them.
- You must be up-to-date on all maintenance requests, and the car has never been damaged or in an accident (with the exception of glass and/or tire damage), PIN’d, or in the process of repossession.
- Stay within the limits of Hertz's mileage conditions.
- Meet Hertz and Uber’s standard qualifications, the Hertz Rental terms and conditions.
Hertz defines their mileage conditions such that for each week, if you drive:
- 30 trips you do not exceed 1,200 miles.
- 50 trips you do not exceed 2,000 miles.
- 100 trips you do not exceed 4,000 miles.
**Offer valid through 5/31/2025 at 11:59pm PT, for a limited time only. Available to drivers who request a ride to an eligible rental location on the date specified on their reservation. Maximum discount of $40 per ride. Maximum of 1 ride per rider. A $40 Uber ride credit will be automatically applied to your account. Discount does not apply to surcharges, government fees, tolls, or tips and cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. No cash value. Offer is non-transferable and subject to change.
