How Rideshare Carz rentals work
To rent a vehicle from RideShare Carz, click the Get Started button and provide the required information. Then our staff will reach out to you through phone call to confirm your rental. A refundable deposit ($100 or $200 based on vehicle type) is required on pickup.
Some RideShare Carz vehicles such as Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y are eligible for Comfort Electric trips, which riders pay a little extra for. You can learn more about what vehicles qualify for here: https://www.uber.com/us/en/drive/services/comfort-electric
Other requirements
- Must be age 21 or older
- Must have a valid United States driver license with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
- A debit or credit card
- A refundable deposit ($100 or $200 based on vehicle type) is required on pickup.
- A valid email account to sign up and log into the RideShareCarz APP
- A smartphone with the Uber Driver and RideShare Carz app installed
To get a car with this offer, applicants must have been approved to drive with Uber and be either 21 or 25 years of age, depending on the rental terms set forth by the rental companies. Prices are subject to change or withdrawal at any time and without notice, and may depend on the region or city in which you are located. Several factors may determine the base price of a rental, including the duration of the rental, the car make and model, how far in advance the rental is booked, the time and day of the rental, and its home location.
