Hertz Rent2Buy allows you to rent a used car for 3 days (or 2 hours) to test drive it before deciding if you want to buy it. If you choose to purchase, the rental fee is waived, and you can start the buying process with Hertz, which includes financing options and a warranty.

Hertz / UBER 2025 CAR SALES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You authorize and understand Uber will provide your profile to Hertz and Hertz will use this information according to its Privacy Policy, including to provide certain details about your transaction to Uber .

For all offers from Uber partners, drivers must have been cleared to drive with Uber and be active on the platform. Uber is not responsible for the offers, products, or services provided by third parties or for the terms and conditions (including financial terms) under which they are offered.

*Buy Back Guarantee. Hertz’s Buy Back Guarantee, allows a customer to return a vehicle within seven (7) days or 250 miles after purchase, whichever comes first. However, a cleaning and recertification fee of $200, will be deducted (unless prohibited by law), as well as an amount for any excessive wear or damage to the vehicle.
