Starting on February 28th, 2024, drivers in Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs and the Inland Empire will need to have completed at least 50 trips with Uber (Rides trips and/or Eats deliveries) and maintain a driver rating of at least 4.90 to rent a vehicle from Uber’s vehicle suppliers. You will still be able to use your own vehicle to drive with Uber and take advantage of car sales discounts and other Uber offers available to you (terms apply).

You can see your rating and number of completed trips in your Driver app. Tap the menu icon in the upper left corner and then your profile photo. You can then see your driver rating in the “Insights” section and number of completed trips in the “Highlights” section.
