To qualify, drivers must have completed a minimum of 400 rides in the past six rolling months. The program will operate on a first-come, first-served basis and may end before December 31, 2025, if funds are depleted. Starting April 3rd, 2025, Colorado drivers who: 1) switch to an EV and have not exceeded 100 electric vehicle rides in the past six rolling months; OR 2) who have exceeded 100 electric vehicle rental rides in the past six rolling months but switch to a purchased electric vehicle (e.g. via new purchase, lease conversion, or rental conversion) are eligible for the incentive. Only battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) are eligible. Hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles are not eligible. Drivers will earn $100 for every 100 trips completed in an EV, up to a maximum of $2,000 for the program period. Only rideshare trips completed on the Uber platform qualify. Uber Black, Uber Eats, Uber Connect, and other delivery trips are not eligible. Canceled rides do not count. Incentive payments will be added to a driver’s account upon completion of the criteria. Once funds are exhausted, no additional incentives will be paid, even if a driver meets the program criteria. Drivers must meet all eligibility requirements to qualify for the incentive. Uber reserves the right to (1) withhold or deduct payments in the event of errors, suspected fraud, illegality, or violation of driver terms or these terms, (2) change the trip requirements, incentive payouts, or other program details at any time and without notice, and (3) disqualify a vehicle at any time that does not meet the eligibility requirements.
